Thermguard Insulation Ltd have worked at the Clayton site since 1987, throughout the period of Anchor Chemicals, Air Products Chemicals and currently Evonik Chemicals. Thermguard Insulation Ltd have covered all manner of insulations works to the sites equipment during this period and adhered to all safety requirements, permits and procedures.
I have known Thermguard Insulation Ltd since 2008 when I was Operations Director at Richard Alan Engineering in Dewsbury. Thermguard were recommended to us by a business contact for potential work on the BASF Bradford site. This was a Comah Site that had previous problems with the Insulation and cladding on two 11 Metre Reactors.
Thermguard undertook the replacement works, installing insulation and cladding to two new reactors. BASF were very Impressed with the performance, quality of work, safety standards and good all-round housekeeping shown on the project.
Thermguard then became our “Go To” insulation and cladding contractor and were employed on many sites thereafter.
Following my move to Manrochem Limited our excellent business relationship has continued.
Thermguard have continued their first-class performance on many Process, Chemical and Top Tier Comah Sites over the years including the following:
BASF, Rhodia, William Blythe, Lubrizol, Nufarm, Dr Reddys, Thornton Ross, Stepan UK, Bradford and Grimsby, Leeds and Halifax Accrington, Huddersfield, Wyke, Mirfield, Linthwaite and Stalybridge.
We have always found Thermguard to be a responsive and fully professional Company in their Industry and would recommend them to any prospective client.
As you are aware, over the last few weeks the Organics & EsterQuat Plants have been through a number of planned shutdowns to allow us to upgrade the Plant & inspect equipment.
These shutdowns require a huge amount of planning, effort & commitment from a significant number of Stepan Employees & Contractors in order that we complete them safely, and hand the Plant back on time.
Your team, have once again pulled out all the stops in order for us to get the job done and hand the plant back on and in some cases ahead of time.
This was a Fantastic achievement by all involved and we couldn’t have managed it without your teams hard work, professionalism, commitment and focus to detail.
